About Lisa

Lisa began her career in newsletter publishing in London before escaping to a role in the Legacy Department at Barnardos UK. One taste of fundraising and she was hooked.

Since then she has managed large and complex Individual Giving, Supporter Care and Data Insight teams and worked at both the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) and the British Heart Foundation (BHF).

Whilst at BHF she was responsible for the acquisition and stewardship of over 400,000 supporters, across Regular Giving, Cash Appeals, In Memoriam and Legacy supporter groups.

Under her management, total revenue from individual supporters increased to over £15.5m annually, accounting for over 50% of the total annual fundraising revenue.

She moved from London to Sydney in early 2015 to join Cerebral Palsy Alliance as Head of Direct Marketing. At CPA her responsibilities included management of the regular giving, cash appeals, raffles and bequests programs.

Lisa joined Synergy in Jan 2019, keen to use her knowledge and experience to help charities maximise their impact for their beneficiaries.

She has been a member of the FIA NSW committee member for three years and is a FIA National Award Winner.

Lisa also holds a Diploma in Fundraising from the Institute of Fundraising in the UK.
